Porthcurno

Porthcurno

Porthcurno is a white-sand cove of Caribbean-blue water beneath the Minack Theatre cliffs — and the place where the first transatlantic telegraph cable came ashore from America in 1870. The PK Porthcurno Museum tells the Victorian internet story; the beach is one of the finest in Britain. The South West Coast Path runs around to Logan Rock and Pedn Vounder to the east.
