Bryher is the smallest of the five inhabited Scilly islands — Hell Bay on the Atlantic-facing west side, Rushy Bay on the sheltered south-east. Two pubs, a gig shed, one shop, and some of the clearest turquoise water in Britain. A footpath around the whole island takes ninety minutes if you don't stop.
