Geevor
Geevor
Geevor Tin Mine at Pendeen was the last working tin mine in Cornwall — it closed in 1990 and re-opened as a museum almost immediately. The whole surface plant survives: mill buildings, headframes, the Victory Shaft, and a walk-in underground level. Combined with the Levant Mine and beam engine next door, it forms the most complete picture of Cornish tin mining you can see anywhere.
