Polperro 2
Polperro
Polperro is a tight huddle of cottages around one of Cornwall's smallest working harbours — whitewashed walls, narrow lanes no car can pass, and a history of smuggling written deep. The village rises up a wooded valley from the harbour; the tiny outer pier holds the sea back. Few places in England look more like themselves.
