Gurnards Head
Gurnards Head
Gurnard's Head is a beaked headland on the South West Coast Path between Zennor and Morvah — a fishy profile when seen from the east, hence the name. The Iron Age promontory fort on top has drystone ramparts still visible. The Gurnard's Head Inn below it is a proper stone pub with rooms. A walk round from Treen or Zennor takes in some of the wildest coast in Penwith.
