Watergate Bay is two miles of Atlantic-facing sand north of Newquay, cliffs at both ends, surf in the middle. Jamie Oliver's Fifteen had its Cornwall restaurant here (now Zacry's). One of the broadest beaches on the north coast — low tide reveals an enormous strand.
