Chapel Porth
Chapel Porth
Chapel Porth is a narrow wave-cut valley on the north coast between St Agnes and Porthtowan, its beach framed by black cliffs and the iconic ruins of Wheal Coates mine overhead. At low tide the sand runs all the way to Porthtowan along the waterline. The National Trust café on the beach has a formidable reputation for hedgehog ice cream. A working-landscape beach — mining, surf, and coast path all in one frame.
