Eden Project
Eden Project
The Eden Project is Cornwall's boldest garden — a pair of giant geodesic biomes built into an old china-clay pit near St Austell, each holding a climate and a botanical story of its own (rainforest in one, Mediterranean in the other). Opened in 2001, Eden has become one of the most visited gardens in Britain. An aerial photograph shows the domes nestled like white cells in the pit's green cradle.
