Mevagissey is a south-coast fishing village of white cottages stacked steeply above a double harbour — the inner harbour sheltering day-boats, the outer harbour the working fleet. Gorran Haven lies along the coast, Heligan in the hills behind. One of the best-preserved working harbours in Cornwall.
