Padstow is a north-coast harbour town on the Camel Estuary — tight lanes of Georgian fronts, a working fishing fleet, and a food reputation built on Rick Stein since the 1970s. The May Day Obby Oss is one of the oldest surviving festivals in England. The Camel Trail (cycle track) runs inland from here through Wadebridge to Bodmin.
