Chun Quoit 2
Chun Quoit
Chun Quoit is one of the finest surviving Neolithic dolmens in Cornwall — four granite uprights crowned by a domed capstone, standing on the moors above Morvah as they have for close to five thousand years. It was a burial chamber, built around 2500 BC, its original earth mound long weathered away. Chun Castle, the Iron Age hillfort, sits alongside. Ancient Penwith at its most stripped-back.
