Men An Tol 2
Men An Tol
Men-An-Tol — Cornish for 'the stone with a hole' — is a Bronze Age monument on the moors between Madron and Morvah. Three stones survive: two uprights and a disc with a round hole cut through it, possibly the remains of a chambered tomb. Folklore says crawling through the hole at full moon cures bad backs and childlessness. Penwith at its most mystical.
