Mousehole 2

Mousehole

Mousehole (locally *Mouzel*) is a tight granite harbour on the west edge of Mount's Bay — narrow streets of fishermen's cottages around a horseshoe quay, lit with the famous Mousehole Christmas lights every December since 1963. Stargazy pie, the quaying-day lantern parade, and the story of Tom Bawcock all belong here. The Ship Inn on the harbour is the original winter refuge.
